Vinification - Harvest:

Our estate is located in the center of the appellation D.O. Ribera del Jucar. The estate consists of 100 ha of excellent vineyards that our winemakers and technicians control very carefully.  The soils on our estate are mostly clay and calcareous, covered with small, soft, rounded river boulders, that help retain water and maintain regularity during the draught season in our dry, Continental climate.  We like to maintain and respect the grape varietal tradition of our region by growing Cencibel (Tempranillo), Bobal and Moscatel de Grano Menudo (Petit Grain Muscat); we also grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc vines.  The most important activity on our estate and winery starts in early August when our winemakers and technicians visit every plot to check the ripeness and sanitary conditions of the different grape varieties.  They will decide when the perfect moment for harvesting each variety is and from these grapes.

Ageing:

16 months in french oak barrels.

Colour:

Cherry red color, bright and clean, medium-high layer  

Bouquet and Palate:

On the nose, it is wild, balsamic, spicy, floral, with a ripe black fruit and a refined roast. In the mouth, the entrance is wide and deep. Fresh and with volume, balanced tannin, intense and elegant, with pleasant retro nasal.

Food Pairing:

Good pairing with rice, cheese, pasta and poultry.

Cherry red colour with violet iridescence, it is clean and bright

Bouquet and Palate:

Nose: lactic, intense and fruity. The palate is lively, light, without complexities, sweet and easily accessible. In retro-nasal it produces memories of berries and peach. It is, overall, a balanced, fresh, silky and elegant wine.

Food Pairing:

Ideal to be served  with tapas, white meat dishes, pasta.

Expression Petit Verdot

Colour:

Cherry red middle layer and violet edge

Bouquet and Palate:

On the nose, it is powerful in aromas of ripe blackberries and black plums, with mineral notes reminiscent of graphite, also balsamic and spicy notes. In the mouth the entry is fresh, soft, unctuous; with good acidity balance, follow by mature fruit tannins that give it breadth and persistence on the palate.

Food Pairing:

Ideal with red meat, game, cheese

3 months over their own fine lees in inox tanks..

Colour:

Clear, bright lemon yellow

Bouquet and Palate:

On the nose, varietal characteristics combine perfectly giving a complex assembly and cheerful. The palate is lively, unctuous and persistent, balanced and frank.  Perfumed and pleasant aftertaste.

Food Pairing:

Perfect with summer salads, pastas and risottos, cheese, nuts, white fish, poultry and shellfish.
