Azienda Agricola II Poggiolo was born in 1971 thanks to the passion of my father Roberto Cosimi.
Rudy Cosimi carries in his genes the whimsical vein typical of his family.
The history of Poggiolo, where Brunello di Montalcino is produced, began exactly 50 years ago.
An impressive 65 hectares just 1 km southwest of Montalcino. I proudly carry on his work trying to create an artisanal product more and more refined and pleasant. I am sure Montalcino's wine lovers will love it.
From the vineyards of Serralunga d’Alba to the cultivated valleys of Alba.
From the breathtaking view of La Morra to the hills weathered by the sea breeze in Cremolino.
Our winery lives in the diversity of the landscapes in which it is rooted, in the many histories and traditions that only the hills of the Langhe and Monferrato know how to express.
We are a dynamic company in continuous evolution, representing the best of every zone
Tenimenti Civa winery is located in the eastern hills of Friuli, in Bellazoia di Povoletto, in the province of Udine.
In this strip of land, in Ravosa, Manzano and San Giovanni al Natisone we carry on an ambitious production project dedicated to autochthonous vines: Ribolla Gialla - our flagship -, Friulano (once Tocai), Refosco dal peduncolo rosso and Schioppettino.
Besides these varieties we also cultivate Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Glera, Cabernet and Merlot.
Our estate is located in the center of the appellation D.O. Ribera del Jucar. The estate consists of 100 hectares of excellent vineyards.
The soils on our estate are mostly clay and calcareous, covered with small, soft, rounded river boulders, that help retain water and maintain regularity during the draught season in our dry, Continental climate.
We like to maintain and respect the grape varietal tradition of our region by growing Tempranillo, Bobal and Moscatel de Grano Menudo (Petit Grain Muscat); we also grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc vines.
Bodegas Lambuena is a small, family winery located in Ribera del Duero, Pedro Cabestrero, the main winemaker, was trained in Burgos, Madrid and France.
At Bodegas Lambuena we are very interested in preserving old vineyards with the quality characteristics of the Ribera del Duero. These vines were planted on land that was difficult to access for people and machinery, in soils that were not very fertile for other crops, in sandy and poor soils. This makes the roots of the vines reach very deep levels looking for food, quartz, lime plates, clay. This effort made by the vine makes the plant obtain its best results and t makes our wines unique.
Villa Calcinaia is situated in the centre of Chianti Classico near the town of Greve-in-Chianti. This historic estate has been home to the Counts Capponi since 1524, and is maintained by Sebastiano Capponi and his brother Niccolo. In 1992.
Count Sebastiano Capponi became the first in the history of the family to manage the winery personally, giving a new life to the vineyards and the cellar. The family owns 200 hectares of land planted with olive trees, vines and pine trees. Organic farming is the standard at Villa Calcinaia with 75 acres. Through every vintage, the wines are crafted with food in mind. They are balanced, elegant and savoury with intensity that ensures longevity.
Domodimonti is a boutique winery located in the picturesque countryside of Montefiore dell’Aso in the region of Le Marche, Italy.
In 2003, Francesco and Marisa Bellini purchased an abandoned “antique cantina” with over thirty hectares of vineyards along with six hectares of olive groves. The idea of producing their own “Organic Wine” in the region where they were born was to realize a dream.
The new state-of-the-art winery was built and inaugurated in 2010.
The Domodimonti estate is located far from urban centers where the air is pure and fresh. Hidden away somewhere amidst the coastal plains of the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini Mountains lies the estate; it offers an ideal climate for sustainable agriculture not to mention breathtaking views.
Luca Menicucci has always strongly believed in his territory - Tuscany!
The production of the important Tuscan Doc, in the protection of their identity and uniqueness, is primarily a passion as well as my daily goal. Our wines bring the elegance and austerity of the Sangiovese grape, expertly married to the more full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The Chianti in its Docg, Docg Classic and Docg Classic Reserve represent my historical production together with the Governo all’Uso Toscano. We then expanded by adding four Tuscan Rossi Igt including the Super Tuscan Solo.
A separate note is dedicated to Vin Santo Occhio di Pernice, a very noble sweet wine produced with Sangiovese grapes in purity. The long aging in oak enhances the high quality giving this special nectar authentic and inimitable notes.
Vini Venturini owns twelve hectares of land covered with grape cultivations which are used for growing grapes. The grapes are grown on the rolling hills of Valpolicella Classica at an average height of 812 feet above sea level. The vines face south-west on terraces held up by stony walls called “marogne” and are supported by “simple” and “double” pergolas. The soil is light, chalky and full of stones.
Venturini company produces wine using exclusively their own grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara. By making wine with these grapes, the Venturini are able to create their high quality Valpolicella Classic wines certified “Denominazione di Origine Controllata”: Amarone, Recioto, Valpolicella Classico and Valpolicella Superiore and Rosso IGT “Massimino”
Rizzuto Guccione owned by the Rizzuto family, present for generations in the agricultural area of Agrigento. Although the family boasts a past of farmers who have always worked with love and attention in the Piconello lands, the entry into the wine market took place in 2003 with IBISCO, the first bottled wine.
Today the Company owns 60 hectares of vineyards cultivating the best grapes of that territory. All the wines, besides being characterized by a great attention during the vinification, have a peculiarity: a close connection with art. The labels chosen for the bottles represents the paintings of internationally renowned artists like Piero Guccione, Mary Bauermeinster, Franco Sarnari and Croce Taravella.
Now more than ever, the wines confirm the connection with art that we love and cultivate: the same one that you can breathe in the vineyards of Piconello.
In the heart of the Lison Pramaggiore DOC area, the most classic and celebrated area among the small homelands of Venetian wine, is located Vigna Lisa winery.
The owner, Aurelio Bellia, together with his wife and daughters, runs with great commitment his winery, whose production is directed both to an affectionate public of connoisseurs and to an increasingly wider market.
The quality of wine is obtained in the vineyard where the cultivation of vines is done with the highest rigor. This is the philosophy that has guided the company since the beginning. The technology of transformation has evolved over the years, while respecting a tradition of craftsmanship that cannot be forgotten.
