rirosa - monlût

Grape Varieties:

75% Ribolla Gialla, 25% Refosco

Area of production:

IGT Venezia Giulia, Italy

Alcohol content:

12.5%

Serving Temperature:

 12°C

Harvest:

Mid September, carefully harvested in the coolest hours of the day.

Vinification:

After a soft pressing the must was decanted for 24 hours at a fixed temperature of 10°C, then started the fermentation in stainless steel vats for 15 days at 16°C - 18°C controlled temperature.

Colour:

Beautiful Rose petal hue

Bouquet and Palate:

The fruity aromas of cherry and red berries stand out along with the delicate floral notes.  Fresh, lively and pleasantly dry with a good aftertaste.  Subtle thanksto its' fine and elegant perlage.

Food Pairing:

Great as an aperitif, with seafood, oysters, fish, tartare or carpaccio and warm fish appetizers.

ribolla gialla - monlût

Grape Varieties:

Ribolla Gialla

Area of production:

DOC Friuli Colli Orientali

Alcohol content:

12.5%

Serving Temperature:

 12.5°C

Harvest:

First half of September, carefully harvested in the coolest hours of the day.

Vinification:

Soft pressing and clarification of the must at a fixed temperature of 10°C - 12°C, then fermentation in stainless steel vats for about 15 days at a controlled temperature of 16°C - 18°C.

Colour:

Pale lemon colour with golden highlights. 

Bouquet and Palate:

The aroma is rich and complex, with all its sapidity and freshness, which gives off hints of white flowers, lemon peel and bergamot. Reinette apple and white peach. Consistent structure and aromati complexity on the palate, with a beautiful minerality and an intense finish of white fruit and citrus fruits.

Food Pairing:

Great as an aperitif and also with fish dishes or vegetables.  A must try as well with soft cheese.

Sauvignon - Monlût

Friuli Colli Orientali, Italy

Bouquet and Palate:

Intense and complex with herbal notes, lime zest, passion fruit, white flowers, eldeflower and boxwood. Delicate and refreshing on the palate, with a clong pleasant finish with a touch of nutmeg and gooseberry.

Food Pairing:

A great pairing with any shellfish and with a soft goat cheese.

pinot grigio - monlût

Bouquet and Palate:

The aroma opens up with an intense bouquet, citrus notes, apricot and linden flowers.  Medium body, gret balance, with flavours of ripe cherries, goden apple and mango, nice sapidity and a soft finish.

Food Pairing:

Well structured and very versatile - could be paired with any salad with white meat or fish dishes. Also excellent as an aperitif.

Friulano - Monlût

DOC Friuli Colli Orientali, Italy

Bouquet and Palate:

Richly  flavoured, it stands out for its elegance and aromatic nose, opening to floral scents of hawthorn and then making way for the typical apricot notes.  The taste is unobtrusive at the beginning, but then shows a very nice progression.

Food Pairing:

Excellent pairing with rice and pasta dishes with vegetables, such as asparagus or meat in bechamel-based suces. Also worth trying with San Daniele ham.

Chardonnay - monlût

Chardonnay

DOC Friuli Colli Orientali, Italy

12%

 12°C

Vinification:

After a soft press, the must has been decanted for 24 hours at a fixed temperature of 10°C, then fermentation in stainless steel vats for 15 days with controlled temperature at 16°C - 16°C.

Colour:

Pale lemon colour

Bouquet and Palate:

The nose it’s quite intense and elegant with nice aromas of white flowers, ripe stone fruits and boxwood. Refreshing with elegant and mineral finish - the favours follow the aromas and get even more complex with notes of exotic fruits and vanilla.

Food Pairing:

Very versatile - enjoy throughout the meal.  Perfect with seafood pasta and fish fillets in a spciy sauce. Enjoy also with white meat or vegetables as long as they are seasoned with a creamy sauce.
